If you see the message "We've temporarily limited your login. Please try again later." while trying to sign in to XWatch, this is a security measure from X (Twitter). You can easily bypass this by using a more secure verification method.
Recommended Solutions
Option 1: Use Apple ID (Recommended)
Linking your Apple ID is the most reliable way to bypass browser restrictions. You can link your Apple ID even if it uses a different email than your X account.
On the XWatch login screen, tap "Continue with Apple".
Sign in with your Apple ID (FaceID, TouchID, or passcode).
When X asks if you have an existing account, select "Log in to an existing account".
Enter your X Username and Password one last time to complete the link.
You will be redirected back to XWatch successfully.
Option 2: Use Your Phone Number
If your X account is associated with a mobile number, using it to log in is often more successful than using an email address.
On the login screen, enter your Phone Number instead of your email or username.
Follow the prompts to enter your password and any 2FA codes required.
This direct verification helps X confirm you are a real user on a trusted device.
Benefits of Linking Apple ID
One-Tap Login: Future logins will only require FaceID.
Bypass Bots: Verified Apple IDs are recognized by X as high-trust accounts.
Safe & Private: Your Apple ID password is never shared with xWatch or X.
